“I made the dimple as a design element to break up the surface of the clay. I found a stone on a local beach that resonated with me, walking with my beloved best friend and dog, Maestro.
We stumbled upon that stone together, bringing the idea of connection, memory, and a lasting imprint to each cup–a DNA imprint offered to the user right where their hand would touch my mark.
This is meant to embody my deep connection to nature and the local environment that has always called to me and called me home.”
